Ingredients for Taratoor B'Tahini - Tahini Sauce
1 cup tahini
1/4 cup lime juice or 1/2 cup lemon juice
3 large cloves garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
4 tablespoons finely chopped parsley (optional)
2 pimento peppers, deseeded (optional)
How to Make Taratoor B'Tahini - Tahini Sauce
Blend the tahini, garlic, pimento peppers, salt, lime juice and water together on medium speed in a blender. The mixture should be the consistency of mayonnaise.
Additional water may be added if more liquid consistency is preferred.
Stir in the parsley by hand.
Notes
TIP - For a thicker consistency, add more tahini; for a thinner sauce, add water and adjust seasoning to taste. If using lemon juice, use less water.
